See how your recording becomes useful coaching feedback
Your client asks, “What made you pick that moment?” You can open the recording and listen together. Perhaps the answer introduced an important concern, and the next response moved straight past it. With the exchange in front of you, you can explain your recommendation and hear your client's perspective.
Rapport Score takes a recording through speaker setup and measurement, then connects the findings to timestamped coaching feedback. Here's how that process gives you material to use in a coaching session or training follow-up.
- Recording and speaker context
- Defined measurements and confidence checks
- Timestamped evidence
- AI-assisted explanation
- Human review and practice
Start with the recording and its context
You can upload a recorded conversation or capture a supported online meeting through the meeting bot. Rapport Score separates the speakers' contributions and organizes the conversation into timed segments. You identify the speaker you're working with and the type of conversation, so the analysis has the right focus.
That setup matters. Giving a presentation involves different demands from conducting a discovery call or coaching a client. The platform uses conversation-specific scoring profiles, and changing the focus speaker triggers a fresh analysis. Before you review the feedback, check that the speaker assignment and context reflect the conversation you intended to examine.
Measure how the exchange unfolded
The measurement engine examines features such as turn-taking, response timing, question structure, reflective listening, and alignment between speakers. Relevant language and timing measurements contribute to the seven Rapport Dimensions and overall score, with selected acoustic evidence supporting particular dimensions. Other measurements provide detail for your review without changing the score. You can use the overview to choose where to look, then examine the supporting information.
The same audio produces identical measurement results. AI then helps explain those results and turn relevant findings into coaching feedback. This gives you a consistent measurement base when you revisit a recording, while keeping the explanation available for discussion.
Each measurement also carries a confidence level based on the available conversation evidence. A brief exchange or limited speech from one participant may provide too little information to assess a particular behavior. The system flags insufficient evidence so you can choose another conversation when needed.

Review the moment behind the feedback
Timestamped coaching moments connect feedback to a particular exchange. You can listen again, read the associated observation, and consider suggested wording for another attempt. Ask Coach lets you explore the analysis through questions, with supporting citations and links to relevant moments.
Suppose you're helping a client ask better follow-up questions. You can examine what the client asked, what the answer contained, and how the client responded. That sequence gives you something specific to work on. Perhaps the answer introduced a concern that deserved another question. You can discuss the choice your client made and rehearse an approach that would explore the concern further.
Your client also brings information the recording may leave out: a previous conversation, an agreed time limit, or a reason for moving on. Bring that context into the review. It helps you choose feedback that fits the work.
Carry the finding into the next attempt
Use the selected moment to agree on a practice task. A focused lesson can explain the skill, and Ask Alex provides live voice roleplay so your client can rehearse using it. After another real conversation, review the new evidence and discuss what became easier, what changed, and what still needs attention.
If you deliver training, you can use this sequence to plan follow-up around the skills you taught. If you coach individually, it gives you material to review between appointments and a clearer focus when you meet. Either way, the conversation becomes part of an ongoing development process.
Choose a recording you have permission to analyze and follow one coaching moment through to practice. You'll have a concrete way to judge how Rapport Score fits your work.
