Give your next coaching conversation a specific starting point
Before a coaching session, you might want to revisit how a concern was handled, compare recent conversations, or understand what’s holding up progress. Performance Partner lets you ask those questions through the AI assistant you already work with.
The connection brings your Rapport Score recordings, measurements, and coaching tools into that conversation. You can request a score, examine a relevant exchange, or ask the Rapport Score coach what needs attention. Where the response draws on recorded moments, you can follow it back to the source.
For your own conversations, that can include the quote and timestamp. Team information follows your authorized role and the access rules for the tool you’re using.
What you can do through the connection
Prepare around a real conversation
Pull up a recorded conversation and its measurements, then explore a moment worth discussing. You can use the exchange to prepare a coaching question, examine an alternative response, or decide which skill to practice.
Review progress across conversations
Ask about recent scores, patterns in your questions, or changes in talk time. Bring those findings into a progress discussion alongside the circumstances and goals that shaped each conversation.
Find your next practice priority
Ask the Rapport Score coach what to work on using your conversation history. You can also check your belt level and the requirements you still need to meet, giving your practice a clear direction.
Coaching & Practice shows how that feedback connects to lessons and live voice rehearsal.
Complete the steps an upload is waiting for
Through an AI app that supports write actions, you can upload a recording or complete supported steps such as identifying speakers. The actions available depend on your AI app, its permissions, and your Rapport Score access.
Prepare for team coaching
If your Rapport Score role authorizes team access, you can explore available reports and recent session recaps before a coaching or training review. Use that information to identify a pattern worth discussing and decide where to focus the session.
Use it in the work you already do
If you’re a coach, you can start with your own conversations to experience the feedback and prepare more deliberately. When your role includes authorized access to a client team, the same connection can support preparation for that engagement.
If you deliver training, use authorized team information to examine what’s happening after the workshop. You can look for relevant patterns and prepare follow-up questions around the skills your program teaches.
If you’re working on your own communication, bring a recent exchange into the review and ask what you could practice before your next call. You can keep that exploration in the AI workspace you already use.
Questions to try
Start with a question connected to a decision you need to make:
- “Compare my questions and talk time across my last five calls.”
- “What belt am I, and what’s keeping me from the next one?”
- “In my last call, where did the other person start giving shorter answers? Show me the quote and timestamp.”
- “What’s one skill I should practice before my next discovery call?”
- “What’s waiting on me in Rapport Score?”
- “Give me a recap of my team’s recent sessions.” For authorized team roles.
You can follow up, ask for the source, or narrow the question to a particular conversation.
How the connection works
The connector uses Model Context Protocol, or MCP, an open standard that connects AI applications with external tools and data.
It sits alongside meeting capture, calendar connections, and uploads, which Integrations explains.
Start in your AI app’s connector settings and add the Rapport Score server address:
https://mcp.rapportscore.ai/mcpThen sign in to Rapport Score, review the requesting application and its permissions, and approve the connection. The setup guide walks you through the steps for each supported app.
You’ll need a paid Rapport Score account and an AI app with custom connector support. Some apps or plans support lookups while others also support actions such as uploads. Your organization’s administrator may need to enable the connection.

Know what you’re giving your AI access to
The approval screen lists the information and tools the connected app can use. That can include full transcripts of your own conversations, including what other participants said. Use recordings you’re authorized to record and share, and review the connected AI app’s data settings.
Team access follows your role in Rapport Score. Connecting an AI app doesn’t give you access to another client’s or team’s information. Each app requires its own approval, and you can disconnect an app independently.
Questions sent to the Rapport Score coach count toward your existing daily coaching allowance. Quick lookups, such as retrieving a score or transcript, don’t use that allowance.
