Build a practice plan for the conversations that matter to you
Your next client meeting is already in the calendar. You'd like to get better at exploring a concern before offering advice, and you've got a recent conversation you can learn from. The Belt System helps you turn that starting point into a practice plan, with a lesson to work through, a response to rehearse, and progress to review after you've used it.
Rapport Score organizes the pathway across six belt levels, each with assigned learning and defined advancement requirements. As a coach, you can connect that structure to your client's goal and agree on what to review at the next session. Your client has a clear task to work on between appointments.

Find your starting point in a real conversation
Bring a relevant recording into Rapport Score and review the analysis. You'll see your overall score and seven Rapport Dimensions, with timestamped moments you can return to. Choose an exchange connected to the skill you want to develop, then listen to what was said and how you responded.
For the client meeting, you might review a moment when a concern came up. What did you ask? How much of the answer did you explore? Coaching feedback and suggested alternative wording help you consider another response. Ask Coach lets you follow up with questions about the available evidence and return to the supporting moments.
Connect your current belt to a useful task
Review your current belt, the lessons assigned to it, and the requirements for advancement. Connect that work to a situation you care about. You might decide to practice one follow-up question and listen carefully enough to ask the next one from the answer you receive.
Work through the relevant learning with that situation in mind. If you're coaching a client, agree on what a useful attempt would look like and when you'll discuss it. Your client can then work independently with a clear reason to return to the practice.
Rehearse with Ask Alex
Ask Alex gives you live voice roleplay with a counterpart who responds within a scenario. You can try the approach aloud, hear what comes back, and adjust as the exchange develops. Feedback after the session helps you identify what to work on in another attempt.
Use language you'd be comfortable saying to a real client. If the question feels stiff, change the wording while keeping its purpose. You want to understand the concern well enough to respond usefully. Rehearsal gives you somewhere to work through that before the meeting.

Use the skill and review what happens
Take the approach into a relevant conversation. When a subsequent recording is analyzed, return to the part you practiced and examine how you used it. You may hear a more useful question, a fuller answer, or a moment that still needs work. Those examples help you decide where to focus next.
Rapport Score follows trends against personal baselines and evaluates belt progression when conversation measurements are updated. Advancement requires performance across all seven dimensions, completion of assigned lessons and successful roleplay, and consistency across qualifying conversations. The Progress & Advancement page explains those requirements in detail.

Make the pathway part of your coaching or training
As a coach, you can build a simple rhythm around the pathway: agree on a focus during the session, let your client work through the learning and practice, and review a real attempt together. Your next appointment begins with something concrete. You can spend time on the part that needs your judgment and experience.
For a training program, use the pathway to support continued application after delivery. Connect the practice to a skill covered in the program and schedule a follow-up discussion around its use. Participants have work to return to, and you have a basis for deciding what to reinforce.
Start with your own conversation so you can experience the process before introducing it to clients. Choose a skill you'd like to use more confidently and follow it from feedback into practice.
